PDF Duzelt (pdfduzelt.com) is built around one simple principle: your documents are yours. Every tool on this site is designed to process files directly in your browser, on your own device, without sending them to our servers.
How Your Files Are Processed
When you open a PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, image or text file in one of our tools, it is read into your browser’s memory and processed locally with JavaScript and WebAssembly. Merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing and protecting all happen on your device. We do not upload, store or keep copies of your files on any server or cloud storage.
Your Document Contents and Personal Data
Because files never leave your device, we cannot see, record, copy or share anything inside them, including names, ID numbers, signatures, addresses or financial details. When you close or reload the page, the data held in your browser’s memory is discarded.
Technical Logs and Hosting
The website is delivered through Cloudflare to keep it fast and protect it against attacks such as DDoS. As with any website, limited technical network data (for example IP address, browser type, referring page and request time) may be processed temporarily by our hosting provider under its own security and privacy policies. This data never includes the contents of your documents.
Fonts and Third-Party Connections
Standard built-in fonts are used by default. If you choose to download an optional font from the Google Fonts catalog, the font file is requested from Google’s servers at that moment. This connection is only made when you use that feature, and no document content is sent.
